What The Heck Are Rhetorical Devices!?
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking “This is just another blog post about rhetorical devices” where I list definitions and examples of those scientific terms used to define word configurations.
Oy vey, you say.
Only you’d be wrong! This isn’t any ordinary page dedicated to devices that demonstrate unique forms of sentence structure to kick your prose in the rear. No, no, no. I’m selling you something. That’s right! You heard me. I’m selling.
What am I selling? You might ask.
And I’ll tell you!
I’m selling you interpretations, my perspective on these little gems that have defined some of the world’s finest orators and literary geniuses. The ones with the right stuff. Yes yes! The ones that have played with the written word and soiled us in their poetic wordplay. (The best form of foreplay is wordplay, after all.)
So let us play!
What I have done is create a product to make stale terms like heterogram and zeugma more fun! With RHETORIC: a perspective you will find visual representations, definitions and my own personal interpretations of these rhetorical devices.
